Redeveloping a structure used as a car park, allocating its roof to the construction of two tennis courts: an innovative project set in the spectacular and exciting scenery of the Alps surrounding the village of Cogne in Valle d'Aosta.

In recent years, the demand for this type of project has become very popular, fuelled both by an increased need for sport and by the desire to redevelop all those spaces that would otherwise remain unused.

Tennis seems truly suited to being ‘fit in’ amidst the natural beauty of those majestic mountains, a sport by definition ‘a spectacle to be heard and seen’.

PROJECT DATA SHEET

A synthetic turf system was chosen for the construction of the two courts
The benefit of this turf is that it does not freeze, it does not dry out as temperatures change and it does not suffer from the outdoor climate; all advantages given the mountain location of the project
These types of courts are also always usable and guarantee maximum playing speed for the players, resistance to intensive use and excellent drainage even in heavy storms or snow
Almost no maintenance and irrigation required
