The consolidation work involved structural reinforcement by spot interventions designed to counteract long standing conditions of cracking and deformation on this religious building, Parish Church of San Giovanni Decollato, located in a small village in the province of Siena.

Re.strutture deployed its best workers on this site, in a constant interaction with the Project Management, ensuring the best technical and aesthetic implementation of the planned interventions. The interventions have already proven their effectiveness from a structural point of view, by blocking the ongoing deformation process, and from the point of view of inserting the introduced elements. The areas where work was carried out were: the bell tower with the rebuilding of its floor slabs, the insertion of chains at each deck and plastering; the apse of the left aisle, the bay in front and the portion of the façade-counter-façade bordering the bell tower (all areas affected by reinforced masonry injections and nailing and the insertion of chains); a portion of the wall of the right aisle affected by masonry injections. ‘Minimum intervention’ and the reversibility and compatibility of materials were implemented and guaranteed.
